These guys are GREAT!

As a recently diagnosed adult ADD'er this book is wonderful! Things that I have struggled with my entire life finally make sense. The short attention span is only a small part of ADD or ADHD as it has all become recognized as. There are a whole host of other "issues" that are directly related that once a person can get their head around then can more effectively deal with. This book is written with the ADD'er in mind first in small bites so that we can easily take the information learned "chew on it for a while" and then figure whether or not it applies and if so how we can then in turn use the information to improve our lives. Secondly, it is written with a sharp sense of humor so the read is an enjoyable one, you look forward to the journey.I hope this helps and if you do get the book that it helps you as much as it has me.

All the info you need, delivered in bite-size chunks with a healthy dose of humour!

This little book is by Rick Green (The Frantics, "Prisoners of Gravity", "History Bites", "The Red Green Show") and Dr. Umesh Jain (one of Canada's leading experts on ADD)---who also gave us the documentary "ADD...and Loving It???" and the TotallyADD.com website. Both authors also have ADD, so the advice in this book has been personally tested by them, to make sure it works for people with ADD!
When you have ADD, big blocks of text are very daunting. So when Green & Jain wrote this book, they made sure it had many tiny chapters, peppered with comic comments from them, and even some little cartoons.
If you get this book in Kindle format (of course, you'll want to make sure you OWN a Kindle first!), you can enlarge the font, and break it up into even smaller bits, spread over more pages.
Lots of answers, lots of great advice from people who've been there & done that & bought the T-shirt (but forgotten where they put it, so they have to get another one, and as they're putting it away, they find where they put the first one, so now they have two), and lots of laughs!

Informative and funny

This is my kind of book. I love the way they put this together. It is funny, informative and has short chapters. The authors have helped me to embrace my ADHD and live my life without shame and guilt.
